Nitin founded TenancyIQ after recognising that self-managing landlords in New Zealand deserved better tools. He is a property investor and advisor, and draws on over 20 years leading complex technology programmes to bring large-scale programme discipline and technical rigour to building a platform landlords can trust.
Swati Puri
Co-Founder & Operations
Swati brings over 20 years of academic expertise in finance, corporate governance, and compliance to TenancyIQ's operations. Her deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and attention to detail ensures the platform maintains the highest standards of accuracy and reliability for NZ landlords.

A NZ family team building for self-managing landlords
I've self-managed rental properties for years, and I got tired of watching good landlords burn out over paperwork that had nothing to do with actually looking after a property well. Tenant screening here, the agreement there, the bond somewhere else, compliance dates you're terrified of missing — all of it scattered, all of it riding on you remembering everything. It shouldn't take that much just to do right by your tenants and your investment.

We built the thing we were desperate for ourselves, and we care enormously about getting it right for every landlord who trusts us with it.
My wife Swati co-founded this with me — this isn't a side project, it's something we believe in.
